Srinagar: Security forces on Wednesday released a photograph of four terrorists involved in the Pahalgam tourist attack. The picture was released a day after 28 tourists in the terror attack. According to reports, Among the four terrorists two are Pakistani nationals.
All these terrorists are reportedly linked to the Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) offshoot, The Resistance Front (TRF). Notably, the TRF claimed responsibility for the attack. One of the terrorists has been identified as Asif Fauji.

The security agencies also released sketches of the three terrorists involved in the attack. Earlier in the day, the first image of one of the terrorists also surfaced online. The image shows the terrorist holding an AK-47 rifle.

On Tuesday, these four terrorists opened fire at tourists enjoying their vacation at Baisaran meadows, around six kilometres from Jammu and Kashmir's Pahalgam.

The terrorists appeared in the meadow around 2:30 pm. Videos of the moment when the attack took place are going viral on social media. Eyewitnesses also revealed that terrorists singled out Hindu tourists and shot them dead.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi cut short his Saudi Arabia visit after the attack. He reached New Delhi on Wednesday morning and held a high-level security meeting at the airport.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah met the victims of the terror attack and visited the Baisaran meadows on Wednesday.
The attack was the deadliest in Kashmir since the Pulwama strike in 2019. Five to six terrorists were reportedly shot at innocent tourists.
The death toll in the terror attack rose to 28 on Wednesday after two injured tourist from Pune succumbed.
