New Delhi: India on Wednesday unveiled details of the terrorist camps situated in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK), which were targeted during the Operation Sindoor to avenge the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack. The videos of the precision strikes were released during a press briefing attended by Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri, Indian Army Officer Sofiya Quresh and Indian Air Force (IAF) Wing Commander Vyomika Singh.

Addressing a Special briefing on the OperationSindoor, Colonel Qureshi said, "Markaz Subhan Allah, Bhawanpur, is located 100 kilometers away from the International Boundary. It was the headquarters of Jaish-e-Mohammed. It was also a center for recruitment, training, and indoctrination."

"Top terrorists often visited here. I would like to inform you that no military base was targeted, and there have been no reports of any civilian casualties so far," she added.

The Indian Army officer further added, "The Markus Taiba Murit camp is located 18 to 25 kilometers away from the International Border (IB). The terrorists involved in the 2008 Mumbai attacks were also trained here. Ajmal Kasab and David Headley were trained at this camp."

Meanwhile, Wing Commander Singh said that nine terrorist camps were targeted and successfully destroyed. She also confirmed that there was no loss of civilians in the Operation Sindoor.

The Indian armed forces carried out missile strikes in the early of Wednesday on nine terror targets in Pakistan and PoK, including the Jaish-e-Mohammad stronghold of Bahawalpur and Lashkar-e-Taiba's base Muridke.

The missile strikes were carried out in retaliation, two weeks after the Pahalgam terror attack in which 26 tourists were killed.
