New Delhi: In response to Pakistan's continuous drone attacks on Indian border cities overnight, India launched retaliatory strikes at major Pakistani cities, including Islamabad, Rawalpindi and Lahore. India struck three Pakistani airbases - Nur Khan, Murid and Rafiqi.
India used air-to-surface missiles and drones to carry out these strikes, as per reports citing sources. Pakistan reportedly lost air assets in the Indian retaliatory strikes. However, Pakistan claimed that there were no casualties or loss of any assets.

- On Friday night, Pakistan launched drone strikes at 26 locations in India from Jammu and Kashmir to Gujarat.
- The targeted areas include Baramulla, Srinagar, Avantipora, Nagrota, Jammu, Ferozepur, Pathankot, Fazilka, Amritsar, Jalandhar, Lalgarh Jatta, Jaisalmer, Barmer, Bhuj, Kuarbet, and Lakhi Nala.
- All these attacks were thwarted by India's air defence system.
- Three people were injured in Ferozpur after debris of a Pakistani drone fell on a house. Pakistan launched 300-400 drones on Thursday night, reported News18.

- Pakistani Posts and Terrorist Launch Pads from where Tube Launched Drones were also being launched, have been destroyed by the Indian Army positioned near Jammu, reported ANI citing Defence sources.
- The Indian Armed Forces are maintaining a high state of alert, and all such aerial threats are being tracked and engaged using counter-drone systems.
- Multiple explosions were heard near Srinagar.
Pakistan's failed attempt to attack Indian cities and military bases came after India's Operation Sindoor, where the Indian armed forces targeted nine terror infrastructures in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir on Wednesday. The operation was a direct response to the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack.
