Complete Press Briefing By The Government:

"This morning, India exercised its right to respond to, prevent, and resist cross-border attacks. This action is measured, non-escalatory, proportional, and responsible. It focuses on eliminating terrorist infrastructure and incapacitating potential terrorists being sent into India," the Foreign Secretary told media.

"You may also recall that on April 25, 2025, the United Nations Security Council issued a press statement regarding the Pahalgam terrorist attack, emphasizing the need to hold the perpetrators, organizers, financiers, and sponsors of this heinous act accountable and bring them to justice. India’s action today should be viewed in this context," he added.

Col. Qureshi, while addressing the media, presented videos showing multiple hits on the Mundrike and other terrorist camps in Pakistan and PoK.

The government confirmed that no Pakistan Army installations were targeted. "No military installation was targeted, and till now there are no reports of civilian casualties in Pakistan," Col Qureshi said.

Meanwhile, Wing Commander Singh said that the Operation Sindoor was launched to serve justice to the victims of the Pahalgam terror attack.

As per sources, over 70 terrorists were killed in the precision strikes carried out by the Indian armed forces targeting terror launchpads across nine locations in Pakistan and Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir (PoK) to avenge the Pahalgam terror attack.
