On Camera: Varanasi Man Sets Parked Car On Fire

A man in Uttar Pradesh's Varanasi was caught on CCTV camera setting a parked car on fire. The incident reportedly took place on the intervening night between Sunday and Monday.

The CCTV footage shows a man with a stick walking up to the car. After he leaves, flames can be seen emanating from the parked vehicle.

The police have launched an investigation into the matter after receiving a complaint from the car owner.

The incident reportedly took place in Taradham Colony under Bhelupur Police Station area.

In a separate incident, miscreants set a parked jeep on fire in Chanoli village in Uttarakhand's Garur. The jeep burned to ashes after the incident. The owner of the vehicle has filed a complaint against the unknown perpetrators.

Chanoli resident Manoj Singh told police that he had gone out for some work and the jeep was parked in the parking area outside his house. On Saturday, an unknown man set his car on fire.
