A truck carrying tiles met with an accident and overturned on the highway in Uttar Pradesh's Agra on Tuesday. However, instead of attending to the driver, people started looting tiles. The incident was also recorded on camera, and its video is going viral on social media.

The accident took place on the highway near Agra Mandi. In the video, people can be seen climbing over the flyover, where the accident took place, and loading the looted tiles into a passenger rickshaw.

Another video of the incident shows men taking away the tiles on bikes.

Some, who saw an opportunity in tragedy, walked away from the scene carrying tiles on their heads.

A passerby, who recorded the loot, can be heard saying that people did not hesitate to even use an ambulance to ferry the looted objects.

However, it remained uncertain if the police reached the spot and stopped the men from looting the tiles from the accident-affected truck or if the truck was emptied by the locals.

The condition of the truck driver and others involved in the accident remains unknown.
