Trends by Election Commission as of 2pm said that BJP is leading in 80 seats in Odisha Lok Sabha Elections, while BJD is leading in 49 seats. Indian National Congress meanwhile has 15 seats.

Election Commission Observation regarding Counting of votes for Odisha Assembly elections as of 1:30 pm shows that BJP is leading in 73 seats while BJD is leading in 57 seats. Congress is leading in 14 seats, CPI(M) is leading in 1 seat and Others in 2 seats.

BJP has established early leads in at least 50 assembly seats in Odisha, as per the Election Commission of India. As per a PTI report, BJD nominees, on the other hand, were leading in 35 constituencies in 94 of 147 assembly seats in the state for which early trends were available till 10.30 am. Congress was ahead in seven seats and the CPI (M) in one, while an Independent candidate was also leading.

As per the early trends, BJD's Dipali Das is leading from the Jharsuguda constituency. Jharsuguda is a Vidhan Sabha constituency of Jharsuguda district. It includes Jharsuguda, Kirmira block, Laikera block, Kolabira block and part of Jharsuguda block. Other key candidates in fray are BJP's Tankadhar Tripathy and INC's Amita Biswal.

Early trends have revealed that BJP's Jayant Sarangi is gaining in Puri Assembly seat. Puri is a Vidhan Sabha constituency of Puri district of Odisha. Jayant Kumari Sarangi is pitted against BJD's Sunil Mohanty and INC's Uma Ballav Rath. In 2019 Vidhan Sabha election, BJP's candidate Jayanta Kumar Sarangi had defeated BJD's Maheswar Mohanty by a margin of 4,008 votes.

Odisha Assembly Election Counting is underway. Counting will take place at 70 centres across the state. Over 2.5 crore voters exercised their franchise in the twin four-phase Lok Sabha and Assembly elections in Odisha. Voter turnout was recorded at 74.44 % as against 73.09 % turnout recorded in 2019.
