Political analyst-turned-politician and Jan Suraj founder Prashant Kishor on Thursday launched a scathing attack on Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar saying, "Nitish Kumar is physically tired and mentally retired." Prashant Kishor made comments against the Janata Dal (United) chief while speaking with media in Patna.

"Under no condition should any candidate of JDU win. Nitish Kumar has started a new trend in Bihar that even if 5-10 candidates of his party win, he will form a coalition and come to power," he said.

Taking a pot shot at the Bihar CM, he said, "Nitish Kumar is physically tired and mentally retired, and if he is still backed by the BJP, this clearly means that the BJP wants to remain part of the government in Bihar. Swearing in 7 new ministers 6 months before the term of this government ends simply means that they want to loot the people before going."

When asked about Nitish Kumar's son Nishant Kumar's recent statement in which he said that his father is fit to run the state government for another five years, Prashant Kishor reiterated that Nitish Kumar is physically and mentally not fit to remain the chief minister.

He challenged the Bihar CM to come in front of a camera without any paper and tell the names of all his cabinet ministers and their departments and said, "If he does so, I will leave the movement and start supporting him."

The political atmosphere in poll-bound Bihar has started heating up as the series of allegations and counter-allegations have already kicked off in the run-up to the upcoming Assembly elections.
