More Than 100 Terrorists Killed In 9 Terror Targets In Operation Sindoor: DGMO

Armed Forces held a press conference on Sunday evening and officially stated that more than 100 terrorists were killed in Pakistan and PoK in Operation Sindoor, India's response against the Pahalgam terror attack that killed 25 Indians and 1 Nepali citizen.

Breifing media, DGMO Lieutenant General Rajiv Ghai said, "Operation Sindoor was conceptualized with a clear military aim to punish the perpetrators and planners of terror and to destroy their terror infrastructure. What I do not state here is the often stated determination of India and its intolerance to terror."

More than 100 terrorists were killed in strikes on nine terror targets during the early morning operation on May 7, including high-value targets such as Yusuf Azhar, Abdul Malik Rauf, and Mudasir Ahmed, said an Indian military officer.

India said that Pakistan Army lost 35 to 40 personnel between May 7 and 10 in Operation Sindoor.

During the press conference, Indian Armed forces released the images of the destroyed terror camps and other targets.

Vice Admiral AN Pramod said that the Navy's Carrier Battle Group (CBG), surface forces, submarines, and aviation assets were immediately deployed at sea with full combat readiness in consort with the joint operation plan of the Indian Defence Forces after April 22.
