Prayagraj: A passenger had a miraculous escape after he fell from a moving train at Subedarganj Railway Station in Uttar Pradesh's Prayagraj district.  The alertness of Railway Police Force (RPF) constables saved his life. The entire incident was recorded on camera and the video surfaced online.

The RPF also shared the video on its official X handle, praising constables Kapil Kumar and Santosh Yadav. In the video, it could be seen that as the passenger fell off the moving train, the two constables immediately ran towards him and prevented him from getting trapped between the train and the platform.

Video Of The Incident:

"At #Subedarganj station, a passenger nearly fell under a moving train. #RPSF Constables Kapil Kumar & Santosh Yadav reacted in a flash, pulled him to safety, and turned tragedy into relief," the RPF tweeted.

The force also urged passengers to travel responsibly and avoid alighting from moving trains.

Netizens are praising both the constables for their alertness.

In January this year, a 24-year-old resident of Chembur, tragically died in an accident near Wadala railway station in Mumbai. Mohan Golap,  who worked at Indigo Press in Cotton Green, was traveling with his friend, Nikhil Bansode, from Cotton Green to Chembur. At around 8:40 PM, the train departed Wadala station.

Golap was standing near the door of the train. As the train crossed the Wadala bridge, he accidentally hit a pole near the tracks and fell. Passengers and Nikhil Bansode immediately noticed the incident and pulled the emergency chain. Railway police arrived at the spot and found that Golap had sustained severe head injuries and was declared dead on the spot.
