Jehanaba: Jan Suraaj founder Prashant Kishor on Sunday launched a blistering attack on the RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav and said that Bihar's opposition leader and his father Lalu Yadav only talk about caste and how to attack the BJP on the lines of religion.

Kishor said that rather than focusing on the issues of other castes, Tejashvi Yadav should focus on the welfare of the Yadav community.

"Tejashwi Yadav and his father just know two things: to talk about caste and religious fanaticism against the BJP. Except for this, he neither studied nor learned anything. They can't talk about development, education, etc. Tejashwi Yadav is the son of Lalu Yadav and the leader of a party formed by him, and hence, he kept saying absurd things... he is talking about other castes, but first, he should do something for Yadavas..." Kishor told ANI.

As the legislative assembly polls are due in Bihar later this year, Kishor, when asked about the potential face of Chief Minister from Mahagathbandhan, stated that there is no doubt Tejashwi Yadav would be the face as he is the son of Lalu Yadav.

"There is no doubt about it, Tejashwi Yadav is the CM face of Mahagathbandhan... It (RJD) is a family-based party, and no discussion is needed, as everyone knows that it's a party of Lalu Yadav, and his son will be the face. Congress has no say in Bihar..." he said.

Speaking on the issue of national security, the Jan Suraaj founder said, "...National security and foreign policy are the things of the central government and parliament. Those people are capable enough to take action, and that's the reason the people in the country have elected them to power."

On April 16, the Election Commission of India (ECI) began preparations for the upcoming Bihar assembly elections, with over 200 booth-level agents participating in a national-level training programme at the India International Institute of Democracy and Election Management in Delhi. According to sources, the ECI has stepped up efforts to conduct a smooth, free, and fair election set to take place later this year.
