A cold-blooded murder occurred in the Jamdoli area of Jaipur on Sunday night, where a young man was stabbed 14 times. The incident sparked protests, with an angry mob blocking the Jaipur-Agra Highway, pelting stones, damaging property, and injuring a policeman on Monday. The police have detained six people, including the main accused.

The victim has been identified as Vipin Nayak, alias Vicky (22), who was allegedly stabbed by Anas Khan. According to the police, the two had a long-standing feud. On Sunday night, Anas and his friends confronted Vipin near his house. An argument broke out, and Anas stabbed him multiple times before fleeing. Vipin was rushed to SMS Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.

Additional Commissioner Kunwar Rashtradeep stated that Vipin was murdered around 9:30 pm. The accused, Anas Khan alias "Shooter", stabbed him repeatedly in the chest, threatened those who tried to help Vipin, and then fled the scene.

It is alleged that after the stabbing, Khan posted a chilling video on social media, brandishing the knife and claiming responsibility for the murder with the words, “Aaj badla poora hua.” The video was deleted shortly after.

The incident triggered protests as locals and the victim's family gathered at the police station and blocked the Jaipur-Agra Highway, demanding strict action and ₹50 lakh in compensation.

As tensions escalated, the police attempted to disperse the crowd. Protesters pelted stones at shops and police personnel. While the situation was eventually brought under control, a dharna continued, and the family refused to take the body for last rites.

Meanwhile, the police have registered a murder case against nine individuals and detained six people, including Anas Khan, who was injured while allegedly trying to snatch the pistol of an Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI).

DCP Tejaswini Gautam confirmed that Anas Khan attempted to grab an ASI's pistol while being taken to the police station. In the scuffle, he was shot in the legs and is currently undergoing treatment at SMS Hospital. The investigation is ongoing, she added.
