'It's Nicely Fried...': Hyderabad Hotel Manager Asks Customer To Eat Lizard Found In Chicken Biryani (VIDEO)

Hyderabad: Gujja Krishna Reddy, a resident of Sheriguda village in Hyderabad's Ibrahimpatnam with two others had visited Mehfil restaurant. Here, they ordered chicken biryani. After the waiter served them the dish, Reddy and others spotted a lizard that was fried in the biryani. What was more shocking was the response of the manager, who asked them to consume it as it was "Nicely fried."

Livid over the manager’s reply, Reddy and others came to Ibrahimpatnam police station and lodged a complaint. According to the complaint, when Reddy questioned the restaurant management about the incident, he was told “It’s nicely fried, you can eat it.” 

The Ibrahimpatnam police received a complaint from three persons alleging that they found a lizard in chicken biryani that was served to them in Mehfil hotel on Sagar Road.

The police has summoned the manager Razack. A case has been filed against the manager. Reddy also lodged a separate complaint with the Ibrahimpatnam municipal and food safety officials against Mehfil hotel.
