Bihar: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday, April 24, addressed his first public appearance after the deadly terror attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, that claimed the lives of 26 individuals and left several injured.
During his speech at an event in Bihar's Madhubani, PM Modi observed a minute of silence to pay homage to the innocent lives killed in the brutal terrorist assault on Tuesday, April 22.

“The entire nation is saddened by the brutality with which terrorists killed innocent civilians in Pahalgam,” PM Modi said, adding that those responsible “will get a punishment bigger than they can imagine.”
Reaffirming India’s resolve to combat terrorism, Modi declared that the country will not rest until justice is delivered. “On the soil of Bihar, I say to the whole world—India will identify, trace and punish every terrorist and their backers. We will pursue them to the ends of the Earth,” he added.
The Prime Minister asserted that India’s unity and determination remain unshaken by such cowardly acts. “The willpower of 140 crore Indians will now break the back of the masters of terror,” he said, stating clearly that terrorism would never be allowed to prevail.
He also expressed gratitude to the global community for standing with India during this difficult time. “Everyone who believes in humanity is with us. I thank the people of various countries and their leaders who have stood with us,” he said.
