Gold Chain Snatched By Bike-borne Thieves As Man Enjoys Momos In Noida’s Sector 12; CCTV Footage Surfaces

Noida: In a shocking incident, two bike-borne miscreants snatched a gold chain from a man in Noida’s Sector 12, escaping before he could react. The incident, which took place near M Block Market o Wednesday, March 19, was caught on CCTV and police have launched an investigation to track down the culprits.

According to the viral CCTV video, the victim, Lalit, a resident of Kondli, Delhi, had visited the market with his family for an evening snack when the crime occurred. While he was standing outside a shop, two men approached on a motorcycle. One of them got off and observed the victim for a few moments while the other kept the engine running. Moments later, the first miscreant swiftly snatched the gold chain from Lalit's neck and fled with his accomplice.

The victim tried to chase them but was unsuccessful. The entire sequence was recorded on a CCTV camera installed nearby. The footage clearly shows the suspects executing their plan in a calculated manner before fleeing the scene.

Police Investigation Underway

Following Lalit's complaint, an FIR has been registered at Sector 24 police station, reported NDTV. The police are analyzing the CCTV footage and have assured that efforts are underway to apprehend the suspects.

Residents have urged authorities to take stricter action and enhance security in busy market areas to prevent such incidents. Meanwhile, police have appealed to the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities to help curb crime in the city.
