Pakistani social media accounts recently claimed that India’s Deputy Chief of Army Staff, Lt Gen Rahul R Singh, stated, "Pakistan's electronic warfare and C4 intelligence capability truly surprised us, and Chinese technology played a big role in defeating India."
These claims were circulated by a Pakistani media outlet identified as The Daily CPEC, which alleged that the Indian General acknowledged Pakistan’s use of Chinese technology as a decisive factor in India’s defeat.
Now in a recent update in this widespread propaganda by the Pakistani media, PIB stepped in and did a fact check which revealed that the alleged claims are fake. Debunking the claims by the Pakistani media, PIB on social media X (formerly twitter) said that the Deputy Chief of Army Staff, Lt Gen Rahul R Singh, has made no such statement.
PIB also termed the alleged statements attributed to Lt Gen Rahul R Singh as "fabricated claims by Pakistani propaganda accounts".
PIB in its post also shared Lt Gen Rahul R Singh's actual statement.
Concluding that Pakistan's electronic warfare and C4 intelligence capability surprised India are fake. Deputy Chief of Army Staff, Lt Gen Rahul R Singh, did not make both statements.

At the "New Age Military Technologies" conference hosted by FICCI on Friday, Lt Gen Rahul Singh mentioned the extent of Chinese influence on Pakistan's defence capabilities, stating that 81 percent of its military equipment originates from China. He noted that during India’s Operation Sindoor, Beijing extended comprehensive support to Islamabad.
Lt Gen Singh also pointed out that India was effectively up against three adversaries during the operation Pakistan as the primary actor, backed majorly by China, and further supported by Turkey, which aligned itself with Pakistan from the onset of Operation Sindoor.
