Bengaluru: Reacting sharply to the allegations made by Leader of Opposition in Parliament Rahul Gandhi, former MLA of Mahadevapura Aravind Limbavali has asked the Congress to do their field work properly before levelling allegations against others.
Speaking to reporters after the Congress rally against the `Votechor' rally in Bengaluru, Aravind Limbavali released the documents to prove that such discrepancies could be found even in Varuna constituency, represented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah.
Rahul Gandhi has levelled allegations like fake voters, voters in fake address, bulk voting, blurred photos and misuse of Form 6. However, Rahul Gandhi has no data on how many people voted in Mahadevapura itself.
Releasing a voter list belonging to Varuna constituency coming under Chamarajnagar Lok Sabha constituency, which is won by Congress, Limbavali said that all these are seen even in Booth No 8 of Varuna Constituency also. ``Does that mean the same allegations are applicable to the constituency being represented by the Chief Minister?'' he questioned.

Limbavali also released the list of such discrepancies found in booths at Sandur (Booth No 6) coming under Ballari Lok Sabha constituency and Manvi (Booth No 6) coming under Raichur Lok Sabha constituency, where Congress won, where similar discrepancies were noticed.
``After Rahul Gandhi levelled allegations, we made our inquiries and caught 13 people providing fake addresses. They admitted to have given the addresses. Rahul Gandhi also alleged that 10,452 bulk votes have been casted in our constituency, which is an utter lie. In Bellandur Booth No 470 address has been given to level these allegations. It is true that 80 people lived in one address, since most of them were migrant laborers, who lived in dormitories of a building. However, only six of them have come for voting. Similarly, in Booth No 153, 68 people had given one address and only two came for voting. In Marathhalli Booth No 365, 48 people had registered under one address and only two came for voting.Similar discrepancies have been found in the booths of BTM layout, Gandhinagar and other constituencies of Bengaluru. Does that mean every place the manipulation has taken place?'' Limbavali questioned.
``Rahul Gandhi has mentioned the name of Gurucharan Danga, who is a migrant. He is presently in Chennai. His application to register in Mahadevapura constituency as a voter was rejected three times and fourth time, it got registered. He has also given requisition to delete his registration. Similar explanation holds good for the other names taken by Rahul Gandhi,'' Limbavali said.

Reacting to misuse of Form 6, Limbavali said that Mahadevapura is a constituency of highest migrant labourers. When they start living in Bengaluru, over a period of time, they will get registered into the voter list by filling Form 6. ``Does that mean these migrant labourers don't have voting rights?'' he added.
