New Delhi: Two people, including a woman, were beaten up in a nightclub last week after a dispute erupted over the condition of the toilets. The victim, 23-year-old man Vijay Malhotra, lodged a complaint. The incident took place at the nightclub on Ashoka Road in a five-star hotel at around 4 am on July 1. An FIR was registered at the Connaught Place police station.

As per Malhotra's complaint, he and his cousin, Shashi Jaggi, visited the club for a party. While he was in the restroom, a dispute arose with the staff regarding the condition of the toilet.

Malhotra further alleged that two bouncers assaulted and when Jaggi intervened, they even beat her. As per the FIR, the bouncers threatened to harm them and forcibly removed them from the club. After receiving the information, the police swung into action.

A detailed investigation has been launched into the matter. However, no arrests have been made in connection with the matter.
