COVID-19: West Bengal govt extends restrictions till July 1 - Here's what's allowed and what's not

West Bengal government on Monday extended the COVID-19 restrictions in the state till July 1. All essential services are exempted.

West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee made the announcement while addressing a press conference. "Movement of people will be restricted between 9 pm and 5 am," she said.

Here's what's allowed and what's not

All govt offices will function with 25% strength.

Private and corporate offices will remain open from 10 am to 4 pm with not more than 25% strength

Shops in shopping mall & complexes allowed to open between 11am-6pm with 50% work force

Sports activities can resume without spectators.

All education institutes & waterways to remain closed.

Movement of private vehicles to remain suspended excluding for emergency

Restaurants with bars can open between 12 noon and 8 pm with 50% seating capacity

Movement of people will be restricted between 9 pm and 5 am
