Mancherial: Chaos erupted between farmers and officials at the Bhubharati Conference in Telangana's Mancherial District on Friday. During the conference, the farmers reportedly thrashed the officials with slippers over a dispute. The incident was recorded on camera and its video also surfaced online.
Two farmers who went to the conference got into a fight over a land dispute. However, when officers tried to intervene between the farmers, named Raju and Ramesh, they attacked them with slippers, reported Telugu Scribe.

In the video, it could be seen that a person was hitting another man with slippers. Later, he started hitting him with a utensil. One of the officials then closed the door of the centre to avoid further altercation. The incident took place at Chandravelli Mandal Center in the district.
Police Officer Manhandle Farmer At Bhubharati Conference:
Earlier this week, a police officer was suspended after a video of him manhandling an elderly farmer during the Bhubharati conference surfaced online, reported The News Minute. The incident took place in Khanapur mandal of Nirmal district.
In the video, Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Ramachandar was seen dragging the farmer, Allepu Venkat, out of the conference centre by pushing him by his arm. According to reports, Venkat had come to the centre with a grievance. The farmer reportedly got into an argument with the tahsildar and other revenue officials over some issue. After which, the tahsildar asked the police officer to take the farmer out of the centre, reported TNM. The incident drew flak from the Opposition in the state.
