Alwar: A chilling incident of dog attack surfaced from Rajasthan's Alwar on Saturday. A college student was attacked by eight to 10 stray dogs in the GK Nagar Colony of Alwar city. The entire incident was captured on CCTV installed in the area and the video is doing rounds on social media.
In the video, it could be seen that the student was walking outside her house while talking on the phone when dogs attacked her from behind. They pounced on her. The student fell to the ground.
Fortunately, another woman who came from behind on her scooty, shooed away the dogs and rescued her. After hearing the screams of the young woman her family members also rushed out of the house.

She was admitted to a hospital for treatment. The college student reportedly sustained multiple injuries on her body due to dog bites. The girl is identified as Navya, is a resident of GK Colony and is studying physiotherapy, reported Aaj Tak
As per the report, the councillor of the ward no. 56, Hetram Yadav, said that a woman teacher in the colony had given shelter to stray dogs, reported the media house.
He alleged that these stray dogs were left free in the day and at night she used to lock them at her house. The locals had reportedly raised the issue with the local municipal corporation. However, they claimed that no action has been taken so far.
In the video, it could be also be seen that everybody could be seen shouting at the woman who rescued the college student. She could be the one who had given shelter to the stray dogs.
