New Delhi: The Delhi High Court on Friday reportedly received a bomb threat via e-mail. Multiple Benches abruptly rose after the threat e-mail. A bomb disposal squad reached the spot.
Judges and lawyers were asked to vacate the high court building. The sudden evacuation created scenes of chaos, with people rushing out of the court complex. The sender of the e-mail reportedly claimed that three bombs had been planted in the court premises.

The e-mail was reportedly received by the registrar general at 8.39 am and some of the judges were informed about it.
The entire area has been cordoned off. As per The Times of India, the ID from which the threat e-mail was sent belonged to a person named Kanimozhi Thevidiya and the sender threatened to detonate the bombs after 2 pm.
"Pakistan Tamil Nadu collude for Holy Friday blasts. 3 bombs planted in judge room/court premises. Evacuate by 2pm," the letter read.
However, nothing suspicious has been found so far.
"The assets within the Police have been sown since 2017, for this Holy Friday. As a sample, today's blast in your Delhi High Court will clear the doubt of previous bluffs. Judge Chamber will detonate shortly after Mid-Day Islamic Prayers," the letter further added.
The e-mail also claimed to "recreate" the 1998 Coimbatore blasts in Patna on Friday and threatened to throw an acid on Udhayanidhi Stalin's son, Inbanithi.
"See, the basic funda is, secular parties depend on allowing family dynasty politics and corruption to thrive in order to fight BJP/RSS. When the heirs (Rahul Gandhi, Udhayanidhi) are prevented from power, they lose interest in fighting against RSS," the email read as quoted by NDTV.
The e-mail also stated that to "create a new evolution of secular leader", some people will be "eliminated".
Earlier on September 9, the Maulana Azad Medical College in the national capital and the Delhi Chief Minister's Secretariat also received bomb threats
