Banda: You must have often heard of incidents related to snake bites, but an unusual incident has come to light from Uttar Pradesh's Banda, where 35-year-old Ashok, while intoxicated, put a live snake in his mouth and began chewing it. He also swallowed parts of the snake after breaking it into several pieces. His family members were left stunned by the scene and rushed him to a community health centre.

According to reports, Ashok was drunk and wandering around the house when he caught a snake. He then put it in his mouth and started chewing. His mother, Siya Dulari, screamed in fear and managed to remove the snake from her son’s mouth, but by then, Ashok had already consumed two pieces of it.

A video from the community health centre has surfaced, showing Ashok looking visibly uneasy while sitting in the waiting area.

What Doctors Said

According to reports, doctors stated that Ashok's condition is stable. They said that if the snake had been venomous, the case could have been very serious.
