Bengaluru Weather: City To Experience Dense Fog & Cloudy Skies On Wednesday; IMD Issues Rain Alert

Bengaluru: The residents of the garden city are set to experience dense fog on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, and it will remain the same throughout the day. The India Meteorological Department predicts heavy rainfall in the forthcoming days. The city has witnessed the sunrise at 6:43 AM it is likely to set at 6:25 PM. Meanwhile, the minimum and maximum temperatures are expected between 17 degrees Celsius and 32 degrees Celsius, respectively.

Due to a low-pressure system that has developed over the Bay of Bengal, the IMD has issued heavy rainfall in February. The rainfall is anticipated in the areas, including Kodagu, Udupi, Dakshina Kannada, Mysuru, Chikkamagluru and Chamarajanagar, and Hassan, among others.

The weather department also said that the summer may arrive earlier than usual. The humidity level is expected to range around 26 per cent. Today, the wind is expected to blow steadily from the East at a speed of 14 km/h, and the Air Quality Index (AQI) is expected to stand at 130, which indicates moderate air quality in the city and its adjoining areas. Meanwhile, cold waves and dry weather are expected in numerous regions of Karnataka, including Uttara Kannada, and Gadag, among others.

The city is predicted to witness the sunrise at 6:43 AM and the sun is expected to set at 6:25 PM.
