Bengaluru Weather Report: City To Experience Light Rainfall On Wednesday; Check More Details

Bengaluru: The Garden City is set to experience cloudy skies and light rainfall on Wednesday, 7, 2025. The city woke up at 05: 57 AM with cloudy skies this morning and it is likely to remain the same throughout the day. The minimum and maximum temperatures are expected to range from 23 degrees Celsius and 32 degrees Celsius, respectively.

The city is expected to witness the sunset at 06:35 PM. The humidity is expected to be around 60 per cent. The wind is expected to blow from the west at 13 km/h.

According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the Air Quality Index is likely to stand at 75, which indicates moderate air quality in the city.

Rainfall in expected in the upcoming days

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow alert in the city till May 7. North Interior Karnataka and South Interior Karnataka are set to experience thunderstorms, lightning, and squalls. However, a change in weather conditions is predicted in the city in the upcoming days.

IMD officials have attributed the wet weather to a cyclonic circulation in the Bay of Bengal, which is gradually moving towards Karnataka and Tamil Nadu. This system is expected to bring widespread rainfall across Bengaluru, Kolar, Ramanagara, Chikkaballapur, Mysuru, Chamarajanagar, Hassan, Tumkur, Davangere, Shivamogga, Bellary, Chitradurga, Mandya districts and Chikkamagaluru.

Karnataka State Natural Disaster Monitoring Centre (KSNDMC) shared a weather report on X (formerly Twitter) and wrote, "Scattered moderate rains with thundershowers and lightning are likely over the state for the next 7 days, with scattered showers over coastal, hilly & south interior districts and scattered showers over north interior districts. @KarnatakaVarthe #KSNDMC."
