Bengaluru: The city is set to experience moderate rainfall on Thursday, June 5, 2025. Cloudy skies are also expected in the city which is expected to remain the same throughout the day. The minimum and maximum temperatures are expected to range from 21 degrees Celsius and 29 degrees Celsius, respectively. The city is expected to witness the sunset at 06: 44 PM. The residents will not get respite from the humidity and it is likely to be around 67 per cent.
KSNDMC shared a weather report on X
Karnataka State Natural Disaster Monitoring Centre (KSNDMC) shared a weather report on X (formerly Twitter) for seven days and wrote, "Moderate rain is likely in the coastal and Malnad districts of the state. Light rain and scattered moderate rain are likely in the interior districts."
Moderate rainfall is predicted in these regions
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued moderate rainfall in coastal and adjoining regions, North Interior Karnataka and South Interior Karnataka. Whereas scattered rainfall is predicted in isolated regions of the state. The weather department has issued a yellow alert for these regions of the state.
Heavy rainfall is predicted in the upcoming days
According to the IMD, the state is set to witness an early and vigorous onset of the southwest monsoon. Coastal districts like Dakshina Kannada, Udupi, and Uttara Kannada are likely to experience heavy rainfall and it will be accompanied by lightning and thunderstorms. However, Chikkaballapur, Ramanagara, Kolar and Chamarajanagar are likely to experience light rainfall.

Mostly cloudy skies are predicted for Friday. The minimum and maximum temperatures are likely to be around 21 degrees Celsius and 30 degrees Celsius, respectively. The humidity will likely to be around 66 per cent. The wind is expected to blow from the West at 11 kmph.
