Bengaluru: The city is set to experience scattered moderate rainfall on Sunday, June 15, 2025. Cloudy skies are also expected in the city which is expected to remain same throughout the day. The city woke up at 05: 53 AM. The minimum and maximum temperatures are expected to range from 21 degrees Celsius and 27 degrees Celsius, respectively.
The city is expected to witness the sunset at 06: 46 PM. The residents will not get respite from humidity and it is likely to be around 81 per cent.
KSNDMC shared a weather report on X
Karnataka State Natural Disaster Monitoring Centre (KSNDMC) shared a weather report on X (formerly Twitter) for seven days and wrote, "Scattered moderate to heavy to very heavy rainfall accompanied by strong winds is likely to occur in Keravalli and Malnad districts of the state today. Dense moderate rainfall and heavy rainfall at isolated places are likely in interior districts."
Rainfall is predicted in these regions
According to the IMD, scattered moderate rain and heavy rain at isolated places in the coastal and adjoining coastal districts with thundershowers across the state. Scattered moderate rain is likely in the interior districts. The rainfall will be accompanied by gusty wind speed reaching 30-40 kmph. This could lead to disruption of electricity in some areas. There is also possibility of uprooting of weak tree branches. The rain is likely to continue for next three to four days.

The Southwest monsoon has become active
The southwest monsoon, which was not active for nearly two weeks, resumed activity with rainfall in various regions of Karnataka. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has released a seven-day alert for Karnataka, forecasting "extensive" rainfall across almost all districts until June 17.
