Anakapalli (Andhra Pradesh), July 01: In a shocking incident, Andhra Pradesh Home Minister Vangalapudi Anitha had a shocking experience during her visit to a backward class girl's hostel in Anakapalli District. She allegedly found a cockroach in the meal which she was eating with the other girls at the hostel.
A video has surfaced on social media which has highlighted the poor hygiene and cleanliness at the hostel. It has also exposed the average quality and unhygienic food which the girls have to consume on daily basis.
Andhra Pradesh Home Minister Vangalapudi Anitha paid a visit to the Backward Classes (BC) girls’ hostel in Payakaraopeta. She had visited the hostel to check the food and hygiene conditions. She sat down to eat lunch with the other girls at the hostel.
However, during the meal she found a cockroach in her plate while eating. She removed the cockroach from her food and showed it to the media persons present at the spot.
Anitha has also shared a video on her official social media account of the similar incident. However, she has not mentioned of any cockroach being found in the meal. The video which was uploaded on her account shows her removing a hair from the food which she was eating with the other girls while sitting on the floor.

She shared the video and said, "Home Minister Anitha suddenly inspected the Payakraopeta BC Girls' Hostel.. Expressed anger over the lack of basic facilities and non-implementation of the food menu in the hostel.. Ordered a comprehensive inquiry and submission of a report."
The incident reportedly occurred on Monday (June 30) during her visit to the Payakraopeta BC Girls' Hostel.
In another incident from Andhra Pradesh, cockroach was reportedly found in the Srisailam Laddoo Prasadam. The video of a man showing the cockroach in the laddoo surfaced on social media and the video went viral. The temple authorities however denied the allegations.
