Meerut: A woman allegedly threatened her husband to kill him like the way former merchant navy officer Saurabh Rajput was reportedly murdered by his wife and her boyfriend in Uttar Pradesh's Meerut. As per reports, the woman gave the chilling threat inspired by the Meerut murder case to her alcoholic husband if he did not change his behaviour. The man approached the police on Monday. However, a complaint was reportedly not lodged.
The man, named Bablu, is a labourer and is a resident of Kanker Khera region of Uttar Pradesh’s Meerut. In a video going viral, the man could be heard saying that he woke up late and his wife told him that she would hit him on his head with a break. The man further claimed that his wife also threatened to to chop his body into pieces and put him into a drum similar to that of the Meerut murder case.

“I woke up late in the morning. My wife threatened to hit me with a brick. After this, she threw a brick at me. It hit me in the head. I got injured,” Bablu could be heard saying in the video.
“My wife threatened that she would chop me into pieces and put the pieces in a drum. I left home to complain to the police, but she reached there before me” he added. The man further alleged that no one paid heed to his grievances.
“We have conducted a medical examination of the victim. He did not file any complaint and left after reaching a compromise,” SHO Kanker Khera Vinay Kumar told The Times of India.

The couple married years ago and both have two children. Bablu is reported to be an alcoholic. As the TOI report, the man came home intoxicated, after which an argument broke out between the two. The woman then reportedly hit her husband and threatened him.
Notably, Rajput was allegedly murdered on March 4 in Meerut and the matter surfaced on March 18. Rajput’s wife and her boyfriend allegedly chopped his body into pieces and put them into a blue-coloured drum in Meerut.
