Samay Raina is currently facing major backlash for his show India's Got Latent, after Ranveer Allahbadia made a crass remark about 'parents having sex,' sparking outrage on social media. Since then, several police complaints and FIRs have been registered against Ranveer, Samay, and others on the show. Amid the controversy, an old video shows Bharti Singh defending Samay Raina and his language on the show.
Bharti, who had appeared on Samay Raina’s panel alongside her husband Haarsh Limbachiyaa and singer Tony Kakkar, called Samay 'talented.' When a paparazzo asked for her views on Samay getting trolled, she said, "Woh show hi aisa hai, but zaroori nahi ki aap show mein jaake wahi bolo jo show ki requirement hai. Aapki marzi—bolo ya na bolo. Samay thodi kehta hai, 'Arey, muh kholo, bolo!' Samay bohot accha ladka hai aur talented bhi hai. Gen-Z ka pasand hai woh. Khud jaoge toh uske fan ho jaoge. Itna accha hai."

India's Got Latent controversy
It all started after Ranveer asked a contestant, "Would you rather watch your parents have s** every day or join them to finish it once and for all?" he asked. The question even surprised Samay. "What the f***?" he said.
The latest development in the controversy is that the state cyber cell has now booked around 40 people who were part of the show since its first episode.
Meanwhile, the episode featuring Ranveer has been removed from YouTube.
Post the criticism, the Youtuber issued an apology stating that there was a "lapse in judgement."
