Last week, during his birthday celebration with the media, Aamir Khan introduced his new girlfriend Gauri Spratt. Aamir and Gauri have known each other for more than two decades but started dating a couple of years ago. The actor's sister, Nikhat Khan, will be seen in the Malayalam movie, L2 Empuraan, and recently at the Hindi trailer launch of the film in Mumbai, she spoke about Gauri.
While talking to Times Applaud Trends, Nikhat said, "Hum log bahot khush hai Aamir ke liye bhi aur Gauri ke liye bhi kyuke woh bahot hie achchi insaan hai. Hum chahate hai ke yeh log dono khush rahe hamesha hamesha (We are very happy for Aamir and even for Gauri because she is a very good human being. We want that both of them stay happy forever)."
When she was asked about her first meeting with Gauri, the actress said, "Yahi Bombay mein kuch ek saal pehle (In Mumbai only, around a year ago)."
Around a month ago, the reports of Aamir being in a relationship with a Bengaluru-based woman start doing the rounds. Later, it was revealed that her name is Gauri, and finally on his birthday, the 60-year-old actor confirmed his relationship.
Aamir On What Made Him Fall In Love With Gauri
While talking about what made him fall in love with Gauri, Aamir had mentioned, "I was looking for someone I could be calm with, who gives me peace. And there she was." Even Gauri had revealed about her love with Aamir. She had said, "I wanted someone who was kind, a gentleman, and just caring."
Aamir and Gauri are in a committed relationship, but during the media interaction, while talking about wedding, the actor said, “See, we are fully committed. And I have been married twice. Par ab 60 saal ki umar mein shaadi shayad mujhe shobha nahi degi (Marriage at the age of 60 would not suit me). But let's see."
The couple was recently spotted together in Mumbai, and while Aamir happily smiled for the paparazzi, Gauri quickly went inside the car.

Talking about Aamir's movies, the actor will next be seen in Sitare Zameen Par which also stars Genelia Deshmukh in the lead role. It is slated to release during Christmas this year. At the media interaction, he also revealed that the work on his project based on Mahabharata has started.
