As of now, the actress has not issued an official statement regarding the matter. However, several social media users have claimed that the leaked video is indeed of Pragya.
Who is Pragya Nagra?
Born on December 14, 1998, Pragya Nagra, is an actress who works predominantly in South Indian cinema. She comes from a Punjabi family in Haryana.
Pragya completed her education in Delhi and worked as a model, having appeared in over 100 commercials before making her mark as an actress in South Indian cinema. Her father was in the Indian Armed Forces, who was posted in Chennai for some time.
While completing her education, Pragya also wanted to join the armed forces and was a member of the National Cadet Cops (NCC.) However, she ultimately decided to pursue a career in acting and moved to Chennai.
The actress has strong social media presence, with 1.1 million followers on her official Instagram handle.
In 2022, Pragya made her debut in the Tamil movie Varalaru Mukkiyam, where she played the role of a Malayali girl opposite Jiiva. Despite the film receiving negative reviews, her acting skills were praised by the audience.
Later, Pragya was casted in Malayalam and Telugu movies as well.
She starred in the Malayalam film Nadikalil Sundari Yamuna, which was released in 2023, where she played the role of a Kannada girl alongside Dhyan Sreenivasan and Aju Varghese.
