Who is Karishma Kohli?
Karishma is the best friend of actress Katrina Kaif. She is the daughter of veteran filmmaker Kuku Kohli.
Karishma had worked as an Assistant Director for Kabir Khan's Ek Tha Tiger and Bajrangi Bhaijaan. She directed Madhuri Dixit and Sanjay Kapoor's web series The Fame Game along with Bejoy Nambiar.
According to her IMDb profile, Karishma directed a short film titled The Woman Under The Tree.
Karishma ditched cultural traditions for a wedding ceremony that felt meaningful and age-appropriate. Reportedly, she hosted an intimate gathering at ice factory IFBE, which is now a mixed-use space that hosts various events.
"I'm Sikh but ever since I can remember I visualised myself in a white gown and not a red lehenga for my wedding. When I was younger, the version of my dream gown was very different. But when I got my first patch of vitiligo, it changed," she told Vogue in an interview.
Karishma met Mikhail in Goa during the COVID-19-induced lockdown. They met for a coffee and fell in love.
Reportedly, Mikhail proposed to Karishma in November 2024 when the couple flew to Bangkok to attend a concert.
Who is Mikhail Yawalkar?
Mikhail is an actor who earlier worked as a model and child artist. In 1993, he worked in a TV show titled Bible Ki Kahaniyan. He enrolled himself into the Barry John Acting studio for a diploma course following which he acted in, co-directed and produced a few award winning short films.
His debut film was Rani Mukerji-starrer Mardaani (2014) in which he played the role of inspector Balwinder Singh Sodhi. He was recently seen in Sidharth Malhotra's Yodha.
