Actress and Bigg Boss 7 winner Gauahar Khan made a heartbreaking confession in the first episode of her new show, MaaaNoranjan. She revealed that she had suffered a miscarriage before conceiving her first child, Zehaan.
Gauahar broke down as she stated that it was the first time she was saying it to the world, because she wanted women to know that life does not end with a miscarriage. "I did have a miscarriage before Zehaan. It is impossible to describe the feeling in words."
"It was not like I lost the baby immediately after conceiving. I lost it after almost 9 weeks, which is more than two months. That loss was extremely difficult," she recalled.
Gauahar was seen struggling to hold her tears back, but she stated that she was then blessed with Zehaan, her first-born with husband Zaid Darbar.
Gauahar also revealed that she gave birth to Zehaan via C-section, and criticised the myth that it was an "easier option". She also slammed those questioning a woman if she welcomed her child via a normal delivery or C-section.
Gauahar and Zaid tied the knot in 2020 after dating for quite some time. In 2023, they announced the birth of their first child, a son, whom they named Zehaan.
In April this year, Gauahar and Zaid took their fans by surprise as they announced that they were all set to welcome their second child. "Bismillah!! Need your prayers and love... Make the world dance by spreading love (sic)," they wrote, as the actress flaunted her baby bump.
