Telugu actor Vijay Deverakonda is currently gearing up for the release of his much-awaited film Kingdom, which is set to hit theaters on July 31. As part of the promotional activities, the makers recently organised a grand pre-release event in Hyderabad, which was attended by Vijay, his mother Madhavi Deverakonda, leading lady Bhagyashree Borse, music composer Anirudh Ravichander, and several other members of the cast and crew.
Vijay Deverakonda's Mother Gets Emotional At Kingdom Event
Several videos from the event are doing the rounds on social media. In one of them, Deverakonda’s mother, Madhavi, was seen getting emotional after Anirudh Ravichander praised Vijay’s performance in Kingdom. Anirudh said, "I have watched the film—it’s a milestone in Vijay’s career as well as in my career." The heartfelt words visibly moved Vijay, who was also seen getting overwhelmed by the praise.

Vijay Deverakonda On Working With Anirudh
Vijay also talked about working with Anirudh and said, "Whenever I used to see films with Anirudh's background score, I always dreamt of working in a film that had him onboard as composer. Well, that dream has come true today, as Anirudh has taken things to another level with his BGM in Kingdom."
Directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, Kingdom is produced by Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya under the banners of Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas.
Vijay Deverakonda Hospitalised
A few days ago, Vijay was diagnosed with dengue and hospitalised for recovery. Talking about the same, a member of his team told Hindustan Times, “Yes, Vijay had dengue. It was initially thought that he had a fever and he could just recover from it at home. However, once the doctor diagnosed him with dengue, he was moved to a private hospital in Hyderabad for faster recovery. He was there for three days and has now been discharged.”
