Chhaava, starring Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna, is just a few days away from its release. Vicky will portray the role of Maratha emperor Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, the son of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, while Rashmika will play Kaushal's on-screen wife Maharani Yesubai in this period drama. The film is set to release on February 14, ahead of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Jayanti on February 19.
Vicky and Rashmika are currently promoting Chhaava in Hyderabad for the song launch of Jaane Tu. In a viral video, Rashmika, who sustained a severe leg injury on her right foot during a gym session, was seen in a wheelchair. Vicky, being a true gentleman, was seen pushing his co-star's wheelchair and helping her navigate.

Vicky looked sharp in a purple kurta and pyjama set, while Rashmika stunned in an orange and red suit set during their promotion of Chhaava.
Chhaava is directed by Laxman Utekar and also stars Akshaye Khanna as Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb, alongside Ashutosh Rana, Divya Dutta, Diana Penty, Vineet Kumar Singh, and Neil Bhoopalam, among others.
A few days ago, after the trailer of Chhaava was unveiled, several Maharashtra ministers raised objections against the film's dance sequences featuring Vicky and Rashmika, where they performed Lezim, a traditional folk dance. In response, the director revealed that the scene would be deleted due to these objections.
In a statement to the media, Laxman said, "I have met Raj Thackeray. He is an avid reader and studious person. So, I have taken some suggestions and guidance from him. And I can say his words are very helpful to me. After meeting him, I have decided to delete those scenes where we have shown Sambhaji Maharaj was doing lezim dance."
"Lezim dance is not a big deal. Sambhaji Maharaj is very much bigger than that Lezim dance. So we are going to remove those scenes from film," he addded.
