Recently, the actress opened up about her mother, Sweety Walia's advice and bold parenting style.
Roshni Walia Reveals Mother Sweety Walia's Advice
Appearing on Hauterrfly's podcast, Roshni revealed that her mother would often advise her to use protection, something that's still considered unconventional for a parent to discuss openly with their child, especially in an Indian household. "She’d say, 'If you do anything, use protection.' She told my older sister (Noor Walia) even more than me, because I was younger back then. Now that I’m growing up, she tells me too. She’s always said it to my sister: 'Use protection.'"

She added, "And she’d also tell me, 'Tum bahar nahi jaati, bohot ghar pe baithi rehti ho. Thoda bahar jao ab.' She tells me, 'Don’t lose yourself, don’t be in your room all the time. Go out, party, enjoy, have fun.' Sometimes she'll ask, 'Aaj drink karke nahi aaye? Aaj tum log sober aaye ho?' Punjabi households, na."
Roshni further revealed that her mother has no idea how much money she has in her bank account, and never questions her about it either.
