Internet sensation and fashion influencer Uorfi Javed, who recently emerged as the winner of The Traitors India, opened up about her celebrity encounters and revealed that she shares a friendly bond with global pop stars Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber.
During her interview with Mashable India, Uorfi recalled her interaction with Bollywood actress and former Miss Universe Sushmita Sen, calling it one of her most memorable moments. "She's my friend," Uorfi said about Sushmita, adding, "Honestly, I'm also friends with Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez."
Speaking about how she became "friends" with the two international icons, Uorfi shared her connection with Latin pop star Karol G.
"So, I am friends with Karol G on Instagram. She's the biggest pop star in Mexico. She's very big, she's huge. She followed me on Instagram and I followed her back. We sometimes speak on Instagram, so she's friends with Selena Gomez. So, in a way, I am friends with Selena," Uorfi explained.
She then joked, "Phir Selena ho gaya toh obviously Justin Bieber. Dekha jaaye toh."
Interestingly, Selena and Justin were once among the most talked-about couples in the music industry. Their on-again, off-again relationship spanned nearly eight years before they officially parted ways in 2018. Justin later married model Hailey Baldwin (now Hailey Bieber), while Selena focused on her music, acting, and mental health advocacy. Despite the breakup, both stars have continued to be at the center of pop culture conversations, often linked by fans and media due to their high-profile history.
Whether Uorfi's playful claims are taken seriously or not, she sure knows how to keep the internet buzzing.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Uorfi won the first season of the reality show The Traitors along with Nikita Luther. The duo shared the prize money and took home Rs 70 lakh.
