Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, who is currently busy with the promotions of his upcoming film, Sikandar, opened up on the chatter surrounding his projects with younger actresses. He mentioned that while he would like to work with Ananya Panday and Janhvi Kapoor, people would bash him for the age gap between them.
In a rare press conference on Wednesday, Salman opened up on the age gap discussion and said that he works with younger actresses only to give them a bigger platform and opportunity. "If I want to work with Ananya or Janhvi, people have made it difficult for me because then they talk about age gap," he said.
"I work with them thinking it's giving them a good opportunity and even then, I will continue to work with them," the superstar added.
Actors have become insecure: Salman Khan
During the same conversation, he also revealed how he had once suggested a filmmaker to make something with an ensemble cast, but all the actors of the current generation refused to work with each other.
"Actors have become very insecure. We were comfortable doing multi-cast films because for us, it was that all our fans would come together to make the film hit. We have spent 100-200 days working together and eventually, we would also become friends," he stated.

Meanwhile, Salman's upcoming film Sikandar, marks his first collaboration with Rashmika Mandanna. During the trailer launch, the actor had answered the questions surrounding their age 31 years of age difference, and had stated that if the actress did not have a problem then others should not bother too.
Sikandar also marks Salman's first film with Ghajini director AR Murugadoss. The film will hit the silver screens on March 30, on the occasion of Eid.
