Bollywood actress Karisma Kapoor attended the funeral of her ex-husband, businessman Sunjay Kapur, in Delhi on Thursday (June 19). She was accompanied by their children - daughter Samaira and son Kiaan. In the visuals now doing the rounds on social media, they are seen paying their final respects.
In a clip shared by a paparazzo on Instagram, Karisma was seen near Sunjay's mortal remains, dressed in a simple white suit. She was joined by her children as they offered floral tributes to the late businessman.
The video captured an emotional moment as Samaira and Kiaan stood beside their mother and participated in the solemn ritual.
The last rites were conducted at the Lodhi Road Cremation Ground in New Delhi. Several family members and well-wishers were seen at the funeral. Karisma's sister Kareena Kapoor Khan and brother-in-law Saif Ali Khan were also in attendance.

Sunjay Kapur's prayer meet in Delhi
A prayer meeting in his memory is scheduled to be held on June 22, from 4 pm to 5 pm, at the Taj Palace Hotel in Delhi. As per a note being circulated on social media, the gathering has been organised by Sunjay's mother, Rani Surinder Kapur, his wife Priya, and their children Safira and Azarias.
The note also mentions his children with Karisma - Samaira and Kiaan - as part of the bereaved family.
Sunjay Kapur's death
Sunjay passed away on June 12 after reportedly suffering a heart attack while playing polo in the United Kingdom. The news of his sudden demise came as a shock to many in both the business and social circles.
According to ANI, Sunjay was riding a horse and playing polo, when he accidentally swallowed a bee, which stuck in his throat and caused irritation. The state of panic led to a heart attack, and he succumbed to it.
Sunjay Kapur and Karisma Kapoor's divorce
Sunjay made headlines in the early 2000s for his high-profile marriage to Karisma. The couple tied the knot in 2003. However, their marriage ended in a highly publicised divorce in 2016, involving serious allegations from both sides.
Karisma accused Sunjay of domestic abuse and emotional trauma, while Sunjay claimed she married him for financial reasons. The settlement awarded Karisma full custody of the children, a house in Mumbai, and financial support.
In 2017, Sunjay married model and entrepreneur Priya Sachdev, and the couple welcomed a son in 2018. Before tying the knot with Karisma, Sunjay was married to fashion designer Nandita Mahtani. They parted ways four years after marriage in 2000.
