Actor Ram Kapoor made headlines with his drastic weight loss, shedding 55 kg in 18 months. While some accused him of using Ozempic—a weight loss drug—he slammed the rumours, stating that such a transformation was the result of hard work. On Tuesday, the Bade Achhe Lagte Hain actor shared new shirtless photos on his social media handle, proudly flaunting his fit physique.
Sharing the photos, Ram wrote, "Work in progress… sorry for the partial nudity… still long way to go to reach the goal."

Reacting to the photos, celebrity photographer Daboo Ratnani commented, "Plan a shoot when you are ready." In response, Ram wrote, "@dabbooratnani brother I cannot dare to come in front of your camera until I have fully reached my goal so please give me more time when I feel I’m ready hundred percent we can plan it."
Earlier, Ram revealed that when he was at his heaviest, at 140 kg, he would feel breathless.
In a new interview with ETimes, Ram said, "I've been incredibly fortunate that audiences loved me even when I was overweight and didn’t fit the industry’s typical mould. At my heaviest, I was 140 kgs while working on Neeyat and Jubilee. Those roles suited my size, but I was unhealthy. I’d feel breathless after walking just 20 steps. I was diabetic, had a foot injury and struggled even with basic movement."
He added that it was then he realised he couldn’t continue living that way, especially as a father of two. Wanting to set a positive example for his children by prioritising his health, he pushed himself to lose 55 kg, eventually bringing his weight down to 85 kg.
On the work front, his last project was a web show, Khalbali Records, which was released on September 12, 2024.
