Bollywood actor Sonu Sood recently revealed that he is a teetotaler and a vegetarian, adding that his daily diet is very boring. Sharing a funny incident, the actor shared that his Dabangg co-star Salman Khan has tried several attempts to make him drink alcohol. In one such attempt, Khan even secretly spiked his drink, but Sonu always refused to give in.

In a conversation with Jist, Sonu said, "I don’t drink at all. Many co-stars have tried to make me try alcohol ki 'Isko aaj try karva ke rahenge; (We will make him try today). Many have tried spiking my drink secretly. Salman bhai ko bada shauk rehta tha, kehte ki, 'Ek kaam kar zara, Red Bull ke andar daal ke laa thodi."

Further, Sonu shared that Salman would slyly hand him a glass of alcohol and he would give it back. "He kept looking at my glass if I gave it to someone else. When someone has a hobby of drinking, they like others to drink as well, which is fine. But nahi pee kabhi (I never tried alcohol), I never felt like it," he added.

On the work front, Sonu is gearing up for the release of his upcoming film Fateh, which also marks his debut as a director. It is slated to release on January 10.

Talking about Fateh, Sonu said in an official statement, "The love I’ve received from the audience over the years is extraordinary, and it’s that love I’m counting on as the teaser of Fateh finally drops. This film is incredibly special to me—not only because it marks my debut as a director but also because it is a voice against the alarming threat that many of us underestimate: the invisible, dark forces of the cyber world. The beating heart of the film is its cutting-edge action that plays out with the ultimate showdown between the real and the virtual. This one’s for all the heroes out there who dare to fight the battles that many of us don’t see."

The film also features Jacqueline Fernandez, Vijay Raaz, and Naseeruddin Shah, among others.
