Actress and model Shefali Jariwala passed away at the age of 42 on Friday, leaving the entertainment industry in shock. While initial reports suggested she suffered a cardiac arrest, Mumbai Police officials clarified on Saturday morning (June 28) that her body has been sent to Cooper Hospital for a postmortem, and the exact cause of death remains unclear. Shatrughan, the watchman, revealed that he had seen the Kaanta Laga star and her husband Parag Tyagi just a few days before her death.
Security guard recalls last sighting of Shefali
Speaking to NDTV, Shefali's security guard said, "Just the evening before yesterday, Shefali and Parag were seen in the society compound with their dog." Further, he shared that he was on duty when Shefali was rushed to the hospital on Friday evening. Around 10:30 PM, she was taken to the hospital, and just an hour earlier, at 9 PM, Parag had returned home on his motorcycle, Shatrughan was the one who had opened the society gate for him.
Security guard shares shock after learning of Shefali's death
Recalling the moment he found out about Shefali's demise, the guard said that after the Bigg Boss 13 contestant was taken to the hospital, a man, who appeared to be her friend, arrived on a motorcycle and informed him that Shefali had passed away.
"We couldn't believe it when we heard. Madam was seen just the day before yesterday, and now she's no longer with us," added Shatrughan.
Shefali was rushed to Bellevue Multispeciality Hospital in Mumbai by her husband, actor Parag Tyagi, where doctors declared her dead. Following this, her body was taken to Cooper Hospital around 12:30 am for postmortem.
