Veteran Bollywood actor and politician Shatrughan Sinha was brutally trolled after he shared an AI-generated photo of Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan from the hospital, wishing the Race actor a speedy recovery after he was attacked in Mumbai.

On Sunday morning, Sinha took to his X handle to share a fake photo showing Saif on a hospital bed and Bebo sitting next to him in a hospital room. Along with that, he wrote, "Very sad & unfortunate the tragic attack on our near, dear & loved #SaifAliKhan which injured him severely. Thank God he is healing well to recovery. Profound regards to my all time favorite 'show man' filmmaker #RajKapoor's granddaughter #KareenaKapoorKhan & the family (sic)."

He went on to say, "One humble appeal please stop the 'blame game', police are doing their job well. We certainly appreciate our CM & HM, Maharashtra @Dev_Fadnavis for his concern & remedial measures. Let's not complicate the matter further. The matter will be solved soon, sooner the better. Thanks to Deputy CMs @AjitPawarSpeaks & our friend @mieknathshinde for their kind words, extreme care & efforts (sic)."

"After all Saif is one of the most brilliant star/actor & also both a Padmashri & National Award winner. Law will take it's own course as things are moving in the right direction. Get well soon (sic)," Sinha concluded.

As soon as he shared the post, netizens pointed out that the photo he used was not a real picture and schooled him, stating that he must not indulge in sharing fake photos.

"Saif AI Ali Khan," an X user joked, while another wrote, "Sir, what's the need to use an AI generated image of Saif and Kareena?" "Is this AI generated image? If yes. You should avoid sharing such images," a user advised.

Meanwhile, the prime accused in the case involving the attack on Saif Ali Khan was arrested from Thane in the wee hours of Sunday (January 19). Identified as Mohammed Shehzad, he illegally entered India from Bangladesh a few months ago, police said.

The cops also stated that he had broken into Saif and Kareena Kapoor Khan's Bandra residence in an attempted robbery bid, and he stabbed the Love Aaj Kal actor when he tried to stop him.
