Bollywood is all set for an iconic reunion as actors Sanjay Dutt and Salman Khan are gearing up to share the screen once again after 25 years. The news was confirmed by Sanjay during the trailer launch of his upcoming film The Bhootni, where he expressed his excitement about working with Salman.
Recalling their past collaborations, Sanjay said, "Saajan dekh li aapne, Chal Mere Bhai dekh li... abhi dono mein Tashan dekh lijiye. I'm very excited for the movie. I'm also happy ye soch ke ki main apne chote bhai ke sath kaam karonga 25 years ke baad."
The announcement has already sparked immense curiosity among fans, especially after Salman himself teased the project at a Mumbai press conference. While keeping details under wraps, Salman promised that the film would be 'rustic and next level'.
The duo, known for their on-screen projects like Saajan (1991) and Chal Mere Bhai (2000), also share a close friendship off-screen. Their upcoming film marks a major milestone in their careers, and though the plot and genre remain undisclosed, expectations are sky-high.
In February 2025, it was reported that Salman and Sanjay will have a cameo in a Hollywood project. Leaked videos and photos circulating on social media showed Salman dressed in a khaki driver's uniform, standing beside an auto-rickshaw, hinting at a de-glam, rooted role in the project. Sanjay Dutt was also seen in the videos. Soon after the videos surfaced, it was claimed that they are shooting for the Hollywood remake of Seven Dogs.

Meanwhile, Sanjay is gearing up for the release of The Bhootni, which also stars Mouni Roy, Palak Tiwari, and Sunny Singh. Directed by Sidhaant Sachdev, The Bhootnii is slated to release on April 18, 2025.
