Sangram Singh and Payal Rohatgi were all over the headlines following reports that they were heading for a divorce after three years of marriage. However, the wrestler recently shut down the rumours by sharing photos with his wife on their third wedding anniversary, stating that they have been together for 14 years and will continue to be. Just days later, Sangram revealed that he and Payal are planning to have a baby via surrogacy.

Speaking to News18, Sangram said, "Bachchon ki kami khalta nahi hai. We’re planning for surrogacy but the laws are very different now. A few people in the past had misused surrogacy laws in the country." Further, he shared that they are trying for it, but feels that he and Payal are still like 'kids' who often argue over small things.
However, he added that when the time is right, they will embrace parenthood, emphasising that it is all up to God.
“In my village, kids come to me and show me their cartwheel skills. Dekh ke bahot achcha lagta hai. When I train, they come and join me. I treat them with fruits," Singh shared.

"Parenthood is definitely an integral part of life. I grew up with a lot of siblings and cousins around me. My father has a sister. My grandfather had a second wife, who gave birth to eight sons. We’re also three siblings. These days, many people choose to not have too many kids or no kids at all. So many of them don’t even want to get married," he concluded.
Payal and Sangram tied the knot in 2022 after dating for over 12 years.
