Actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu attended a pre-release event of her production company Tra La La Moving Pictures' debut film Subham in Vizag, Vishakhapatnam, in Andhra Pradesh. During the event, several videos surfaced online showing her getting visibly emotional. She was seen tearing up and wiping her eyes, which sparked concern among fans, who took to social media to express their worry about her emotional well-being.
However, Samantha responded to the viral video by clarifying that she wasn't emotional and her eyes are simply sensitive to light, which causes them to water frequently, requiring her to keep wiping them. Taking to her Instagram story, she was heard saying, "I just want to set the record straight on one thing. I have said this before, but I am forced to say again that my eyes are really sensitive to bright lights and they tend to water. So there are a lot of posts and articles going around about my emotional well-being."

"I just want to make it clear that it has absolutely nothing to do with my emotional state. I am absolutely fine, happy and excited at the moment, so please give it a rest. Let’s not do this all over again," Samantha added.
