Toronto-based rapper Top5, whose real name is Hassan Ali, was involved in a horrifying incident in London over the weekend after he was stabbed in the neck. He was in London to support his friend, Drake, who was headlining the Wireless Festival over the weekend.
According to reports, Top5 was engaging with his fans near the festival venue when a masked man approached him and stabbed him in the neck. It led to major chaos and people ran helter-skelter fearing it to be a mass knife attack.
Meanwhile, Top5 was rushed to the hospital, and he is reportedly fine and recuperating. Reports mentioned that no major arteries were hit during the knife attack.
Top5 and his team have not issued an official statement on the incident yet. While local cops are now investigating the matter, the motive behind the attack remains unclear.
It is to be noted that the attack came days after Top5 attempted to enter Kendrick Lamar's hotel in Toronto.

Top5, who happens to be quite close to Drake, has collaborated with several artists. But along with his music, he is infamous for his controversies and legal battles.
In 2021, he was charged with first-degree murder after he was accused of shooting one Hashim Omar Hashi to death. However, the charges were dropped after the court ruled that his song lyrics and social media posts could not be used as evidence.
Top5 was also apprehended for illegal possession of firearms.
