Actor Parth Samthaan, who was last seen in Kasautii Zindagii Kay season 2, where he starred alongside Erica Fernandes, is all set for his television comeback. The 34-year-old actor will reportedly feature in CID 2. The iconic show made its return on Sony TV on December 21, 2024, bringing back its central characters. It is currently streaming on Netflix and even has an animated spin-off titled CID Squad – Naye Yug Ka Naya CID.
The news about Parth starring in CID 2 was shared by Gossips TV. However, an official confirmation is awaited.
Earlier today, reports surfaced that Shivaji Satam, who became a household name as ACP Pradyuman in CID, will be bidding farewell to the long-running series, with upcoming episodes set to feature a tragic twist involving the death of his character.
Reacting to the news, Shivaji told Mid-Day that he is unaware whether his character will be written off the show. "Currently, I am enjoying a nice long holiday and have not been informed about any future shooting for CID," he said.
