Singer Neha Kakkar recently issued a statement addressing the backlash she received for being three hours late to her Melbourne concert. She claimed that she performed for free and alleged that the organisers 'ran away' with her payment. However, days later, the organisers hit back, accusing her of causing a Rs 4.52 crore loss and further stated that, in fact, it is the singer who should be paying them.

The show organisers, Beats Production shared a details expenses list of Kakkar's Sydney and Melbourne concert, revealing that due to Neha's 'unprofessionalism', they have been banned for the Margaret Court Arena. They also alleged that they have been banned by the Crown Towers in Sydney and Melbourne for smoking, as the artist smoked in the artist room, which is strictly prohibited in Australia.

During a Facebook Live session on March 28, the organisers clarified that contrary to Neha's claims of not being provided food, water, or hotel accommodations, they had made all necessary arrangements. They also shared a video on their Instagram, showing Neha arriving at the airport, meeting the organisers, and being escorted to the car, with multiple cars arranged for her.

"The allegations are completely false. We are in big debt after the show. She should be the one paying us… it was a mistake having her on board," said the organisers.

Neha Kakkar's clarification

Kakkar's note read, "Do you all know that I performed absolutely free for my Melbourne audience? The organisers ran away with my money and others too. My band was not even given food, hotel and even water. My husband and his boys went and provided them food. Inspite of all of this we still went on stage and did the show without any rest or anything because there my fans were waiting for hours for me."

It all started after Neha allegedly performing for just one hour at her recent Melbourne concert. During the event, she broke down in tears, apologising to fans for the delay. However, she soon faced massive backlash from concertgoers, who called her emotional moment as 'drama.'
